Increased platform support – With vSphere 5.5, full client support for Mac OS X is now available in the vSphere Web Client. This includes native remote console for a virtual machine. Administrators and end users can now access and manage their vSphere environment using the desktop platform they are most comfortable with. - Drag and drop support. Now you can move things around within vCenter just like you could before in the legacy client. Yay!
- Filtered views. Now you can filter the views (i.e., only critical alarms) easily.
- Recent items. This is really an enhancement for me. I was so used to the shortcuts in the legacy client that I have begun to miss them. Recent items gives me a bit of relief!
